Lisa Dordal lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her partner, Laurie, and their two retired greyhounds. She received a Master of Fine Arts (in poetry) from Vanderbilt University in 2011 and a Master of Divinity, also from Vanderbilt, in 2005.
